🌙 Project 1 : Dreams 🌙
To start out the year, I completed my first project revolving around the topic of dream meanings. I tracked my dreams for 3 weeks and analyzed their true meanings. I also created my own dreamcatcher for the art portion of my project

Honors English 4For the English portion of my project I tracked my dreams for three weeks. I wrote all of them down in a dream journal every morning. Then, when I arrived at school each day I logged them in a chart. The chart consisted of four columns in total; summary of dream, my interpretation, another persons interpretation, and an experts interpretation. After completing this project, I reflected upon the process and realized tacking your dreams and interpreting them can make you learn things about yourself you never even thought of.

Honors Portfolio 2For the art portion of this project I created my ow dreamcatcher. This task was a lot harder than expected. To start, I went to Walmart and bought twine, leather wrap, an embroidery hoop, feathers, and beads. I watched multiple youtube tutorials on how to create your own dreamcatcher and then got straight to work. The whole process took about five days; however, by the end, I was happy with my final product. To contextualize dreamcatchers I research all of the background and legends behind the original dreamcatcher. One interesting thing I found was the ob legend. This legend states that the dreamcatcher originated from the obi tribe by a women called spider women. This women was said to have taken care of all of the children in the tribe and when the tribe's population got too big, she created the dreamcatcher to help watch over the children.
