About Me!
Project 1Dreams
To start out the year, I completed my first project revolving around the topic of dream meanings. I tracked my dreams for 3 weeks and analyzed their true meanings. I also created my own dreamcatcher for the art portion of my project (shown at right). |
Project 2
For the second project of the year I chose to create a project on 9/11 perspectives with my partner, Dajali Wilson. To begin our project, we set out to go to New York, New York to visit the 9/11 memorial as well as interview New York visitors on their perspectives of 9/11. While there, Dajali and I gathered interesting footage and images to create a vlog.
Project 3
Controversial Topics
For the third project of the year, Dajali Wilson and I conducted a project that was half parter work and half solo work. We choose three controversial topics that are relevant in todays day and age. The topics we choose were, teachers carrying weapons, legalizing marijuana, and wether or not abortion should be legal. After choosing our topics we conducted a personal debate and a class debate, and created propaganda posters displaying our stands on each topic.
Project 4
Interior Design
For my fourth and final project of Apollo I decided to pick a topic that really interest me; interior design. The key focus of this project was the synthesis. To begin the project I had to conduct all of my research on interior design styles. After doing so I had to figure out how I was going to show synthesis within my project. I decided to use a website called room styler.com to design the interior of a house that I created. Using my research, in each room I choose two or three styles to combine together to create a new style room. In the end I designed the interior of eight rooms including a foyer, connecting room, office, kitchen/dining room, laundry room, living room, bathroom, and master bedroom.
